Plug in your car

Don’t forget to plug your car in when it gets below minus 18!

Why would you want that? You need this for your car to start once the weather becomes colder. You need your coolant warm so that your engine will start in the morning. So plugging in your car during these cold temperatures has nothing to do with your battery! Most cars have a thermal cord that won’t work until it hits -18. You can plug it in at whatever temperature you want but it won’t make a connection until it hits minus 18.
